My husband and I necessary a Security Safe for some items we wanted to store in a protected spot. We are seniors and because it only weighed 65.7 pounds, my husband and a friend could carry it readily. A different selling point was that it has a 2.66 cu.ft. interior storage. It also came with lock down bolts which we bolted it to the floor.
The only challenge we had was sliding off the opening to the batteries inside the door. We could not get it to budge but I put on a pair of rubber gloves and it snapped suitable off. It can be locked with a crucial or with the combination lock, You choose your code for the mixture lock. It also tells you if the batteries are acquiring low but must you forget to replace them, you can nevertheless open it with the crucial. We are very pleased with this item. It was double boxed so it arrived in perfect condition. Happy in California!
I don't know if anybody else had this difficulty, but the secure we received was fully defective. I do not know if it is the actual secure, or if it was broken for the duration of shipping.
The master essential and the pass code did not perform at all. The protected did not open.
