The H2300 provides protection from both fire and water. A continuous 360 degree jamb and waterproof seal fully insulates the interior from the threat of water invasion. Fire protection consists of UL classified fire endurance for 1/2 hour as properly as ETL verification for 30 minutes of fire protection of CDs, DVDs, USB drives, and memory sticks, up to 1550 degree Fahrenheit. A complete-time spring latch seals the unit even when it is unlocked.
Buyer Evaluations
I needed a fireproof safe to retailer crucial documents in. The H2300 fits the bill perfectly. It will hold A4 and Letter sized documents, and a decent amount of it, also.
The only grief I have with it, is that it does not have a handle to carry it around. Possibly, for the reason that of its reasonably high weight, it is not meant to be carried around, but I certain would like to have that opportunity anyway ...
Other than that, it's craftsmanship is acceptable and I count on a long use out of it.
This safe is wonderful for fire and water protection in the house. This is not a secure for anti theft.
Virtually did not shop for beacuse of other reviews.
. It spends its life sitting on a 3 drawer file so weight and no deal with is not an problem.
. It opens just fine. No knee or knife required as other individuals have mentioned.
I am going to decide to purchase two extra as gifts.
